Helpful Hints

 

  • Ensure your resume is up to date and accurately highlights the most relevant experience for the position you are applying to or interviewing for.  Be selective in the information you choose to include as years of work experience can turn into pages of bullet points.  To avoid this, be sure to use the examples that best represent your areas of expertise and fit for the role in question.
     

  • Don't forget about your LinkedIn profile!  This is just as important, if not more important in some cases, than your resume.  As you make edits to your resume be sure to check your LinkedIn Profile and edit appropriately there as well.  The more detail you provide here, the easier it will be for recruiters to find you.
     

  • Network, network, network!  You never know, your next great opportunity could be just a conversation away.
