Over the course of my career, I’ve worked in a number of roles across the staffing industry, including Healthcare Recruiter, Account Recruitment Manager, and Business Development Manager. Serving in these roles has provided me with the unique perspective to fully understand what is in the best interests of both the candidate and the client. I’m grateful for this perspective as I’ve found it helps bring a more consistent, positive experience for the teams I work with throughout the hiring experience.
I love that my role at Fusion allows me to combine my professional experience with my personal interest in helping people which began in college. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and received a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Health Communication. During my time at UW-Whitewater, I found a passion for helping others through community outreach while working with the University Health and Counseling Services as a Wellness Educator for first-year students. I also discovered my passion for researching new strategies and processes for organizations to function more efficiently and cut unnecessary costs while working with the Walworth County Public Health Department and Rock River Free Clinic. Outside of my classwork and internships, I became a part of the local restaurant community while working for two family-owned restaurants. Family and locally owned establishments remain near and dear to my heart and I am always looking for ways to support them and see them thrive.
When it came to the decision to join Fusion Recruiters, I was immediately drawn to our team’s quality over quantity approach and passion for building meaningful relationships. I’m thrilled to be able to utilize my background in the healthcare industry while continuing to pursue my interest supporting the organizations within my community.
In my free time, I enjoy finding new trails and parks to hike with my two dogs: Elsa and Aura. I also enjoy working on home DIY projects, spending time with my niece and nephews, as well as traveling every chance I get.
